High resolution image capture and fine art reproduction is performed in-house at the studio. The Better Light Super 8k-HS tri-linear scan camera captures crisp images at 100% resolution and accurate color up to 488 megapixels per image. Giclees are printed on canvas and museum quality cotton rag with archival pigment colors and coated with UV sealer. Additionally, George Shadow provides fine art reproduction services for other artists.

A note about giclees

The term "giclee" is a made-up word in French to mean ink-jet print on canvas. Recently the term has come to mean any high quality or high resolution printing on both canvas and paper. We at Classic Art & Design, Inc. use the term in its broader meaning because all of our prints are archival high resolution prints. To insure longevity of our giclees, all are sealed with an ultraviolet coating.
